I went to the leeds WALL yesterday with explorers.
Turns out matthew is an avid wall-climber, had special climbing shoes and showed us how to put on those despicable harnesses.

We started out on a small easy wall, then went onto a larger harder wall, then climbed up the corner of the wall, then climbed up another corner -one side of which was uneven with overhangs :O
Then we stopped and did "bouldering" which is when you climb without a harness. The bouldering walls, of course, are not tall and there are bouncy mats underneath them C:

I could not for the life of me abseil back down the walls. My feet just slid down, and one time I came away from the wall completely and did an interesting pirouette XD
Was fun. My hands hurt, my arms hurt now.
