I actually think I'm liking English! My research paper will be on...*drumroll* Emily Dickenson's poetry! I love her poems. I understand some of them. My dad calls her "Weird Emily". Everyone else is saying how strange she is, but I think she's very insightful. Maybe I'm just weird like that. I just understand it so easily.
I'm writing a present-day magical story. Here's the first line.
"Even thought the sun was hidden by low grey clouds, it was still too bright outside for Bethela's eyes."
It's kinda cool. I don't even know what the story line is going to be. I know she's "of darkness, not light" and there's some suspicion about her from her superiors and she's waiting for someone, someone who they need. But I don't have a story for it. The lines just popped into my head.
I miss choir. I need the music. I've been almost obsessed with Music of the Night. Incidentally, I'm listening to it right now. >.<
