Was talking to someone and I liked how I put some stuff.

Three steps to admitting you like someone.
1) denial
2) secretive acceptance (you don't tell anyone)
3) open acceptance (you tell at least one friend)

There are those we like because they flirt with us. It flatters our vanity and makes us feel wanted. We might not like them all that much, but we want to keep a hold on them and might get jealous if they move on. It leads a lot of people into meaningless relationships and causes fights.

There are those we like from a distance, sort of. Because they're cute or funny or nice but we're not especially close to them. This is like a lot of the typical high school crushes; the guy that every girl likes.

And there are those we like so much and yet have no idea why. It just comes out of nowhere and you always want to be around them and make them happy. If you have it bad you almost melt when they talk to you directly, smile at you, or make you laugh.

When you like someone, it can be a mixture of the three. That's what makes it so confusing.

At least...this is what I think. I don't really know. This is a new subject for me.
