So, today I was hanging out in my room practicing guitar when my mom called me out to the living room. She was looking at colleges for me trying to think of ones I would be interested in. I thought it was nice, until she told me that it was ok if I didn't get into the college I wanted to, that it was ok to do a year of comunity college before toing to a university. Now I haven't taken any ACT's yet and we don't know how this last year of High school will turn out, but she basically said that I was going to fail at getting into any college I wanted to and that I wasn't going to do good in the ACT, I feel like she is setting me up to fail before I can do anything for myself. That she wants me to do something i don't want to do or even be in. It is rediculous I want to go to college and I don't know what I want to do but i probably will know when the time comes, i just don't feel like anyone believes in me that I will get into college anymore...
