I know that no one is gonna read this, but I need to get it off my chest somehow...

My boyfriend is really awesome and I seriously love him with all my heart, but he doesn't want me to get the tattoos that i've always wanted to get. And it's not like they're pointless tattoos that have no meaning. They would all be significant. And I only want 3..
He's really not controlling, but he had told me that he wanted a couple of tattoos himself so I thought he was completely on board. I found out later that it was a lie so that I wouldn't feel bad for getting them. The truth finally came out and he told me that he would find me slightly less attractive if I got em. That really shattered my hope to ever get them. I still want them really badly, but at the same time I don't want to completely disregard his feelings in the matter. I'd also still like to be as attractive to him as I can be. The situation really sucks!! crying
