inside of the innocent and
colorful person
is darkness

dark as night

broken

shattered

letting the light cower in fear
of the darkness's quantity and power

closing the door to the outside world
and letting the colors fall

a different person

letting the only color fall from the dull gray eyes

blood red tears staining the purity of a bright innocent soul
