Has anyone read this story? Well, I'm sure plenty of people have, but can anyone tell me roughly how it goes?
I read two of the stories in that book I bought of modern fairy tales. The first one, I can't even begin to place. The second one said it was based on the little matchstick girl, which I've never actually read.
It was rather depressing.
It was about a girl, who's father blamed her for the death of his wife, and he's addicted to a drug called matchsticks, and he abuses her. She runs away, and it's cold and snowy. She goes to get some matchsticks for her father so he'll let her back in, but she decides that furthering his addiction will just make things worse.
She hides beside his garage, and uses the matchstick so she'll no longer feel the cold, but she freezes to death over night. sad
See? Quite depressing.
I kind of want to know if the original story is just as depressing.

First and formost, I plan to use this like a regular diary. I'll probably talk about stuff on and off gaia. Mostly off. If I talk about Gaia, I'm probably just bitching.
I may also post some of my fictional writing. I don't know yet.
