“nothing” nikki said looking away from her and back to Volroc. “hey V say something please” but nothing was said from Volroc as he sat there not even moving. Nikki walked over to him and looked him in the eye. “listen Volroc snap out of it we have things to be concentrating on like that amulet.”

Right then his head snapped up as he looked around trying to find the girl again who disappeared from the spot she was standing in. “where did she go this time?” of course right after he said that she had to appear right behind him. Without her saying a word Volroc just knew she was there. “shes right behind me isn’t she?” then he turned around faster than she thought he would.

“you don’t need to know my name” she snapped. Like she knew what he was thinking.

“how the hell did you know I was about to ask that?” he demanded. What is going on, he thought to himself quietly. Who is she? And how did she know what I was thinking?

“I knew that because I can hear your thoughts and who I am isn’t important.” She said a little more calmly. She started walking around nikki and Volroc just looking at them. That’s when nikki stood up to say something that she had been holding back

“why were you in the cave in the first place!” nikki said a little bit louder than expected but that didn’t matter to her any. “Before you showed up everything was just fine!” she said not seeming to care how the girl felt at the moment.

Shocked as she was from nikki’s outburst she started backing away slowly about to turn and make a run for it. “Im sorry.” She whispered starting to back away more. That’s when Volroc stood up and was behind her before nikki even noticed he had gotten up in the first place.

He put his hand lightly on her shoulders even though he knew that wouldn’t stop her especially from her previous disappearing act. “you should be moving around with your leg wounded like that” he said looking down at her leg which nobody noticed she was limping. “you should sit down and rest you can stay with us if you want” he offered.

She turned around and looked him in the eyes but this time is was a look of gratitude. “thank you for saving me in the cave I didn’t notice there was a rock falling the exact moment I was under it” then looked down to the ground blushing a little bit. “I think your right though, I shouldn’t be walking around on my leg at the moment” she then sat down on the ground and leaned against the tree.

“Now will you tell me your name?” Volroc asked politely with the look in his eyes trying not to get her mad. The girl looked around nervously trying not to give anything away of what she was thinking.
