I know this feeling well,
But it hurts all the same,
How stupid I was,
To think I could ever win such a complex game,
To think anyone would ever be interested,
What a joke,
I continue to lie to myself,
Letting out the idiotic teenage uke inside myself,
They call them crushes for a reason,
Because they never work,
How ugly I am,
No guy will ever want me,
OH the irony,
For so many girls like me so,
It's torturous this irony,
A burning thorn in my side,
I will forever be alone.
