Overview: Rin's entire family was killed by human bandits and she was left mute.When Sesshomaru got injured, Rin came and offered him food. When wolves attacked and killed her, Sesshomaru saw her and used the Tenseiga to bring her back to life. She now follows him around with Jaken. Although Sesshomaru supposedly hates humans, he allows Rin to follow him and protects her. Though Sesshomaru never states any feelings for her, he displays a strong protective instinct and Rin is obviously devoted to him.
