Have You Ever...
Have you ever tried breathing backwards
Or reaching up to touch the sun
Have you ever danced with the Lady Moon
Thinking of you two to be one
Have you ever seen pure Darkness and Light
Standing side by side
Have you ever gotten the gift of second sight
Or being forced to leave a man behind
Have you ever met two sisters
Born of different mothers
Or seen pure evil inside someone
You thought could beat all others
Have you ever been wrapped in the wind's embrace
Or satisfy the fire's licking tongue
When you do this- you think your story's beginning?
Ha! It's long ago begun
Have you ever flown with a Phoenix
And learned to control his Flame
Have you ever seen things unseeable
While walking in the rain
Have you ever held a shread of hope
Or put courage in your hand
All these things and more
You can't begin to understand
