September7, 2009 Poem# 1
Broken hearted
The day you first left me my heart sank so deeply.
I didn't deny that the degree of our demise sent tears down my eyes.
You said that you were sorry but it didn't register in.
You were like a dream that captivated my soul.
Once you left, it cut real deep; the severity of the pain.
I couldn't understand how you could do something so inhumane.
You left me broken hearted and it can't be fixed, I loved you so, how could you do me like this?
