Creature of the Night

I'm a creature of the night
I do not fear the darkness
Or the things that go bump in the night
But the light
Oh the light
My eyes do they sting

I'm a creature of the night
I thrive on darkness
Your night my day
Your day my night
I sleep different from you
In a cave so very dark

I'm a creature of the night
I fly on wings so soft
Almost like silk
My teeth may be sharp
But I am not a cold blooded killer
In fact I dont kill much at all
I drink only enough to fill my hunger

I'm a creature of the night
I am not something to fear
And I am not a threat
I am just another creature in this world

Doing what I have to
To survive
