Hooray for Retro! ^^ Most new things are pretty much garbage for a lot of people. This is in honor for the good old times people grew up with. Toonami is one of those things that I made a journal entry for.
Before I start, I just want to say my family are the type of people that let us watch and play just about anything we want. Ironically, M and R rated stuff at least isn't so great to me for the most part. The main M thing I like which is also sometimes T rated is the Prince of Persia games on Playstation 2 and stuff. Those are awesome. ^^
Movies (Good old movies... ^^ A lot of good ones I like was what Disney was really all about in the past. I was always thought Pixar was kind of like Disney... Now it is. smile Now that their Disney Pixar, just about every one of their movies is 3D. I miss the old style. But it's not really the style of art. It's the way the new movies are. Their terrible... At least compared to the good old stuff. I miss you Disney... sad You used to be good to us.)

The Great Mouse Detective (1986) (The movie a little bit before this one, The Black Cauldron was another Disney movie I never really liked this much. Same for Thumbellina. I don't know what made me hate them, I just do. Also, I have mixed feelings for Oliver & Company.)

Toy Story (1995) (Around this time, sequels started to get bad, at least compared to the original. The Lion King 2 and Toy Story 2 aren't as good as the original.)

The Hunchback of Notre Dame (My favorite Disney movie of all time. I love it SO much! ^^ Definitely one of their best films. You can't go wrong with this movie. smile "SANCTUARY!" wink
Hercules (1997)
Flubber (1997) (Another movie I have mixed feeling for now. I love how Robin Williams in it and how most or some of the movies he's in are awesome. ^^ But I'm not too sure about this one anymore. I don't know why. Mrs. Doubtfire, Hook, and Jumanji are his better films.)
Mulan (199 cool (Oh man, another one of Disney's best films. "Let's get down to buisness, to defeat, the huns! Did they send me daughters, when I asked, for sons?! Your the saddest bunch I've ever met, ... Some day I'll, make a man, out of you!" Awesome. ^^ And then there's that upbeat marching song. "Wish that I had, a girl worth fighting for! ... The only girl who loves him is his mother!" Eddie Murphy was in this too as Mushu. He's so awesome! XD)
A Bug's Life (199 cool
The Parent Trap (199 cool (This was so the girl's version of Wild America. The twins are so bad to each other in the beginning. XD Not to mention their out camping in the wild, which the guys in Wild America are out in the wild too.)
Tarzan (1999) (The last true awesome movie by Disney. In the 21st century, things became much different very fast... Monsters Inc., Finding Nemo, and even The Emperor's New Groove... Compared to these other movies, who needs them? I don't. And then they just get worse and worse... Disney, I miss you... What happened to the old you?)
Shows (Ah, shows. Kid shows and even some Anime kid shows... Man, that stuff was awesome. We weren't really old enough for Toonami, but it's not too bad. Besides, Toonami changes and goes over time, and was only around for 11 years. We might as well see that at least no matter how old we are. Never liked Sailor Moon too much sadly but it does feel like a classic looking back on it. Lots of people know Sailor Moon. ^^ Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh were awesome back then. Now they seem kind of ridiculous in some ways or other. Card Captor Sakura was another one of my personal favorites. Some other good shows that weren't animes though were Franklin, Madeline, Little Bear, Blue's Clues The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Talespin, Duck Tales, Dark Wing Duck, Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers, etc... Madeline is cute. smile I'll never forget some of those special lines they always use. "We love our bread, we love our butter, but most of all, we love each other." Doesn't that make you all warm and cuddly inside? ^^ That's what kid shows need to be more about, not just comedy, weirdness, and randomness like Spongebob, Chowder and Flapjack.)

Samurai Jack (Samurai Jack! biggrin I love this show! ^^ Aku is one of the coolest, darkest, and scariest villains out there. His lair looks like a pit to Hell... And his form looks like a Shadow such as the ones in Dark Cloud and Dragon Warrior. He can Shape Shift and even create time portals. Also, he can make things his minions and absorb things like arrows. One, if not only weakness is Jack's sword.)
G Gundam (Hell yeah! biggrin This was the only Gundam show I got into. Domon Kasshu reminds me of Haseo from .Hack a LOT, even though their not voiced by the same people. "This hand of mine is Burning Red!" God, this show kicked so much a**. ^^)

Inuyasha (Demons, demons, and more demons. Some girl named Kagome goes in some weird well in a shrine and is led into the past before all or most demons of her time existed. Some demons that are fought in her time might come from the other world.)
Yu Yu Hakusho (This show is so awesome! biggrin It's about demons like Inuyasha, but more on a spiritual level than demonic. Still quite the same though. I thought it was a bit like Dragon Ball Z too because Yusuke's Spirit Gun reminds me of Goku's Kamehameha Wave.)

By the time Putt Putt 3 came out, the graphics in the game finally became good. Not like that really matters... I really like the second too. 3 and 4 are also good ones though. 3 was our very first Putt Putt game.)
