New Years 2004 and 2005 have nothing on 2006. New Years 2004 I was misguided, I thought I was getting the one thing I wanted most in the world, but it turned out to be the last thing I needed. Later in the same year I found exactly what I was looking for and qualities I never even knew I wanted in one person. In 2005 I really got to explore this new love, and found out how wonderful things could really be. Sadly, on New Years 2005 I didn't get to ring in the year with my love but I felt special and cared for just the same. Back then it felt like the year was full of possiblities..and I was right. whee But New Years 2006 takes the cake..or the lasagna. I got to be with my love. I got to be with him starting in the afternoon, and late into the night--until it was morning again. The year is once again, is full of possibilities. And even though I ultimately don't know what my life will be like, I do know who I want to spend it with. I had such a wonderful night and day, one that I will never forget. Beautiful, beautiful New Years '06.
