Earthbound
People say that they want to be like a bird
To fly free
To soar among the clouds
Of unfaltering blue
But not me
I wish to stay human
To be among the evergreen
The tormenting seas
Why
Why would I want to be earthbound?
Because if you are a bird with a broken wing
You are bound to die
If you are a bird who is blind
You cannot escape fate’s cruel path
But if you are human you can live
Live on pride
Live on inner strength
Live long
