He walked on into what would seem to be the end of his long and tired journey.
From a cub to a patriarch, he kept walking, walking alone, filled with pride, the pride of youth, the pride of a leader, the pride of wisdom.
Many battles he had walked through, never stopping, never backing down his will and constitution never faltering, never showing weakness.
There he stood, at the threshold of the end of it all, all the suffering, all of the pain... inside lay his only relief, his own demise... a demise he would never back down from, a demise in battle, against a tyrant that threatened all that he had built while on his long and tired journey
eager to meet his end, he bore his fang and leaped into what was waiting for him, his final glory, with the pride of a king, the pride of a lion
