Gossip
So many things left unsaid
and some of those things
Make my tears shed
People talk about me, behind my back
The anger in me begins to stack
So many lies have passed by me
Why can't anyone ever see
That these words never pass easily
From one person to the next
The rumor begins to hurt more
I feel as though, I want to run out the door
But then, someone proves, that the rumor isn't true
I start to feel less blue
This person, stood up to defend me
I wanted to go up to them, thankfully
For showing everyone that it was not true
That was all I wanted to do
For I have helped this person too.
