I remember we met when I was in 8th grade. I was really shy but we had field day and we were all waiting for the buses to come pick us up (Really we could all fit into a single bus, there were only 70 of us). I was sitting on the steps reading a book called "Why Do Men Have Nipples" and he came over and said, "Interesting book."
I said "Y-Yeah"

I was reading one part of the book, "Why does your pee smell when you eat asparagus" and he was reading over my shoulder.
"Hm, sulfer, that makes sense." We started talking about anime and found out we had a lot in common in terms of likes.

When we were on the bus we were talking and he said to me, "I'm a sadist!" (No idea how we got to that) and I responded quickly with, "I'm a masochist!" We barely stopped talking until we got to the camp where we have field day.

After we did all the useless bonding games, he had kosher marshmallows (He's jewish but I think agnostic) and he was roasting them, using me as his test subject to test if they were being cooked for long enough.

Once his marshmallows were done he then took the stick and started teasing me, poking me and I jumped up and down trying to grab the stick from him but he was so much taller then me he didn't even have to try getting it away, he just had to hold it above his head.

When we got back on the bus we watched Dog Fights (The show about the airplanes not actual dog fights) and I gave him my screen name to my AIM account.

We said our good byes at the school once we returned and took our different paths home.
