- •__I say what I'm thinking, almost always, and won't take no for an answer. I'm really sweet, when I want to be, and am a real charmer. I am friendly with almost everybody, and love to have fun.
•__I am an only child, and the youngest, of a very rich family in Chicago. I've been sent to all the right schools, introduced to all the right people, and given all the nicest things. But I never wanted any of that. My mother and father died during the influenza epidemic of 1918, and I've lived with my grandmother, an overbearing, controlling, old-fashioned woman of 73, since I was ten and a half.
When my uncle from Paris, France brought me a puppy for my 12th birthday, and a cousin named Henri, I was much happier. I now had two friends to play with, and quickly more, because Henri was so charismatic. The boys found him quick, charming, and witty, and they thought I was the spunkiest thing they'd ever seen. Henri and I, along with Monty and David have been running wild since then, even when the boys had to go to boarding school on the east coast and I was sent to finishing school in New Orleans. We corresponded and met up again every summer, Easter, Christmas, and Fall break we've had. Now that we're all out of school and into our working lives, we're inseperable.
