If life was like a pencil,
All fears could be erased.
If life was like a stencil,
Our happiness could be traced.
If life was like a book,
Our feelings could be read.
Then everyone could look
At what we love and dread.
If life was like a ruler,
Our emotions could be measured.
If life was like a rumor,
Secrets could not be treasured.
If life was like recess,
Everyone would be free.
If life was like a clean desk,
It'd be full of simplicity.
If life was like a late slip,
Importance would be missed.
If life was like a field trip,
From fears, we would get dismissed.
If life was like a writing tool,
We could write out life and see
That when our life is like a school,
It's as simple as can be!
