So starting last Thursday, I've been working at Meier and Frank. Nothing too special about that. I get paid, that's okies.
Problem is... I didn't even get my one day off from work this week because one of my co-workers called in sick and no one was available to fill her slot last Monday, which was supposed to be the one day of sanity that I would have off. Jumping at the chance for a little extra spending money, I took her empty slot.
Only... I forgot that I would be working every single day up to Christmas Day (which thankfully, I have off). So in other words... I'm soooo effed.
Like today/yesterday-ish. I woke up at 2-freakin-PM, then trotted off to work by 6. Thing is, I never eat breakfast so my body's used to that. Got to work, and by 9pm felt like I was going to pass out *time-line-wise, I hadn't eaten anything since the day before*. Thankfully, Maggie let me take my missed half-hour break to run to 52 Gourmet Subs and get a mango bubble tea along with a mixed berry turnover, along with a nice bowl of chowder. Felt much better afterwards, but then also realized that with my current "night owl" schedule of sleeping, if I don't find some way of correcting this, I'm gonna be sooooo ******** when school starts up again in two weeks.

Onto Gaia-related stuff... well, not much here. Modding to insane hours, being insane in general, being threatened in various ways by various mods and admins to take better care of myself (as if XP~). Though for my profile, I'm going to be working on the banners quite a bit over the next few days to revamp it a little and add in that new "multimedia" banner, seeing as I'm actually using that slot of dead space now. Currently have a Sonic the Hedgehog flash game I found on ebaums.
I really really wanted to put "The Many Uses for the Word '********'" in there instead, but I figure that's not very professional nor very befitting of a mod so... oh well. ;; I'll live with the Sonic game, though I also wish I could get one of the Orisinal.net games. Problem with those is that it requires this special type of shockwave plugin that is not embedded in the games themselves, so if I tried to use on on Gaia, it wouldn't work.
