The Wynvern Mountain is ruled by the tyrant that goes by his wynvern name Tigrex. He is a fearsome beast bent on destroying the humanoid species from his planet. He is a wynvern so it is able to kill him. He cannot be hurt by bullets or missles, only melee weapons such as the hammer, lance, gunlance,great sword, long sword, sword, twin daggers, hunting horn, and also the bow can slay him. He lives in the snowy caverns atop the large mountain. He takes a liking to human slaves which are forced to gather and hunt for food.
Living atop the second tallest mountain is the Blangonga and it's pack of Blango servants. It is a snow beast which means it is rarely seen off the mountain. That being said the Blango's have a smaller pelt making them able to go down the mountain for a good time then able to come back up without any really harmfull damage to there body. The Blangonga is very large and can throw huge chunks of ice at its prey. It can also propell its body through the air into a body slam to crush its foe.
Below the Mountain there are the Herb Eatters. There are the Popo, a large mommoth like species used for farm work, transportation, and used for materials to make armor and such. There are also the Kelbi, deer like monsters that are peaceful and cannot really hurt you unless provoked.
Under the mountain there is also a never ending turf war between the Drome species.
The Giadrome which are native to the mountains,
the Velocidrome which is native to the forest,
and the Gendrome which is native to the desert
and the Iodrome native to the swamp.
The Wynvern Tyrant of the forest is the Yian Kut-Ku! The Great Bird Wynvern spirit of the forest. It blows fire balls from its mouth to attack prey and is also partial to the use of pecking its prey to death. Using the stinger like spike on the end of its tail it injects the prey with toxins lethal enough to kill a grow Popo much less a human.
Then there are the Sky twins Monoblos, ruler of the day time, and Diablos, ruler of the night skys. Monoblos uses his large forehead as a panel to absorb the energy from the suns rays, with that energy he stores in his mouth and shoots in bursts at prey to kill them, this can also be used to blind an opponent. Diablos Uses its tail to harness the power of the moons light and uses the end of its tail as a scorpion like stinger to blast the ray out from above his body and down at the opponent.
The Forest king is the Narugakaruga. He is a lover of humanoids and is not only a peaceful wynvern but also a stalk predator. Narugakaruga is the guardian of Pokke village, he has established his dominance over Tigrex and the other Tyrants. He is also rarely seen in the mountains unless establishing negotiations with the tyrants. His eyes emit red beams of harnessed darkness to put its prey into a blind state. He is also swift and has a beak leading humanoids to believe he was once a Sky Wynvern and a Tyrant before he became a timid and wise Wynvern Guardian.
Now to talk about your role in this story. You are the Monster Hunters, the keepers of justice and the protectors of the innocent. Your journey begins in the small mountain Village of Pokke Village. This is where you shall start your quest to become the supreme hunter. You cannot fight these Wynverns alone though you shall be joined by all the rest of the young hunters who want to become the top hunter. Joined by your Felyne companions you will become powerful and swift!
