Addicted to Dreaming
E-Marketers
We've passed the age of Door-to-door Salesmen. We've passed the age of Telemarketers. We have entered the age of E-marketers.
You all know emarketing. They send you emails for Viagra. For websites you've never heard of and likely never would have had they not sent you an email. For lack of a better word, emarketing is:
SPAM.
And no, I'm not talking about the Monty Python skit. (Although, from what I've heard, that stuff is equally unpleasant.)

This was a PM I was sent. Just to spite the b*****d, I'll keep his name in.

Hey,

I hope you're enjoying your
holidays, I am!

Well, I recently opened up a new site.
I encourage you to to go check it
out. It's a writing community.
Head over to www.writersbeat.com and
check it out!

WritersBeat.com

Thanks,
Daniel

"A community dedicated to the passion
of all genres of writing. Need
critique? Need advice? Want to discover
new authors? Discuss books on the
market? www.writersbeat.com will
contain all of these topics and more!"

I didn't mean to snap. But if there is one thing in this world I loathe more than an idiot, it is someone trying to get me to do something I don't wanna do. (That is why I don't like religion, for all you religious folk out there.)
But I replied very rudely.

Jasper Riddle
I'm sorry.

******** off, a*****e. All I could ever want writing-wise I have: Fictionpress and Gaia. If I want your website I'll check it out myself, and if you're wise you'll never telemarket to me again, or else I'll hunt you down and shove your keyboard down your throat.

Once again, I'm sorry. But I loathe people who force stuff on me, I really do.

And get rid of the poetry-esque line breaks. They looks stupid.

I feel like Jekll and Hyde here. Part of me was sorry for what I was about to do, snapping at him with no apparent reason, and the other half of me just wanted to bite his head off, pull out his intestines, and make a tetherball court out of them. Is it wrong to be so angry about being sent a PM with that content?

I wasn't even angry to begin with. But it was like this Hulk moment--I saw that he was advertising, and I didn't even read what it said. I just snapped.

My only consolation is that he'll never PM me again.
