I've been writing sonnets to keep me writing. Sleep is getting to be a problem. I need rest if I am to write. My book THE WAY YOU TAKE IT is ready for the editor, I hope for the last time now.
That's great man! (I don't mean the not-getting-sleep thing.) I hope your book gets a two-thumbs-up from the editor. If it makes it to stores, I promise I'll buy a copy. (And you'd better sign it, OR ELSE!)
Want some advice on sleeping?
Try getting active during the day to tire yourself out. It can be as little as a walk around the neighborhood, or if you're athletic, run a few miles. Anything helps, really.
Make sure to not use the computer 1 hour before going to bed. Studies have shown that using visual interfaces (i.e. video games, tv) stimulate your brain and cause a lot of subconscious mental activity. Staying away from electronics will give your mind some time to shut down.
Drink warm milk 1/2 hour before you go to bed. It causes your brain to release a chemical that makes you sleepy. biggrin
Finally, if none of these work, turn on a fan and listen to the rhythmic 'swah-swah' of the blades. It'll zone you out, believe me ^^
