Sunrise
Before it came, my life was dark and filled with hate,
So much pain that I could not take.
Just at the right time, there it came,
The gray began to fade,
No longer was my view a dull black and white.
As the colors filled the sky,
The chill began to warm,
As the sun began to rise.
A lost girl found direction,
As the sun rose high,
The black sky turned to blue,
Like the color of her eyes.
Dark turned to light,
Grey turned to blue,
Lost became found,
That's when I met you.
My world,
My savior,
My love.
