It may be a really bad poem, but here:
Pearl of Light
After the death of time
After the sun goes out
After the last tree is swallowed in a disappearing sea
After the rocks fall
After the air breathes its last
After the last bird sings before it is shoot by the last bullet
There is one thing left in a universe of destruction
One substance found by nothing in the corner
One thing of human glory
One thing of ocean pride
One small pearl of innocence left by the no longer tide
Nothing breathes within
Nothing circles around
Nothing is left to gaze upon its rightful pleasure
Nothing is left to swallow it in its ominous tongue
Nothing is left to lodge it into its darkening lung
Shall this pearl live on
Shall it break the day
Shall it gather power from the never seen light
No
It is gone
To last only for an instant
And leave with a distant dream that died during the death of time
