crying In the dark of the night
She walks alone
Rain pouring by moonlight

She just needs someone
To anchor her down
Keep her safe from herself
Take away her frown
Theres just no point
She says between tears
Never been happy
Through all of these years
The branches they scratch
Like the words at her heart
Pretends that shes fine
But sads just a start
Shes been hiding all this time
Afraid of the world
Slowly slinking back
Cant quite get a hold
Shes in too deep
To find her way out
Wishes she could make it
Never learnt what lifes about
And so she leaves
This simple note
Be happy while you can
Thats all she wrote
In the dark of the night
She walks to her grave
Rain pouring by moonlight
She finally caved crying
