"Your Friendship"
I remember the time you arrived,
It almost looked like you would take flight,
Because you were so clumsy.
I had laughed so hard I remember,
That day I would never forget.
I remember that I helped you with your suitcases,
It was really interesting talking with you.
You chattered with no end about your day,
But I didn't mind.
It fascinated me.
And so we arrived at your apartment,
We said goodbye to each ohter.
We hugged,
And then I walked away.
I recall the following morning as well,
While I was sleeping, and the phone rang loud,
And I fell off my bed.
I answered it, and was very glad you wanted to see me.
"See you soon", I said, and hanged up.
I met you at the restaurant,
And so we had breakfast and a chat.
It was sad that you would move away.
But if there's something good from that,
Is that one fact that our friendship would go on with no end.
