I am using TANKA. It is another form of Japanese poetry.
The first line of the tanka MUST be 5 syllables only. The next line is 7, and the next 5. Then the other two lines at the end are both 7 syllables.
This story/poem was from like.. grade 6 or something. ._. I gave some of the people Japanese names.

Lost
It was midnight,
I was trembling in the cold.
Wearing thin garments
My warm breath was forming clouds
In the cold and lonely night
A strange man appeared
He smiled slightly at me
Then gave me his coat
"Shouldn't you be home right now?"
His voice was gentle and kind
I gave no response
He sighed then shouted a name
"Yes?" A voice called
"Take this girl back to her home."
*I'm not going back to there!*
The men turned, surprised
*I'll never go back to there.*
"And why wouldn't you?"
I paused *I'm just not going.*
"I'll let you keep your secrets."
I looked up at him
*Thank you..* I said quietly
The man just nodded
Then began to walk away
"Well? Are you coming with me?"
I gave him a look
*I'm coming where exactly?*
"Well I can't just leave!"
"You'd be alone in the cold!"
*But I just met you today..!*
"So what?" The man said
*We barely know each other!*
The man rolled his eyes "Come on."
*To where?* I began to shout
"To your brand new home, of course."
*I still don't trust you.*
"Fine then, you can always die."
I sighed *Fine, I'll come.*
The man smiled at those words.
(There is another person?)
Another voice said
I turned around to the voice
"My apologies,"
"This is my brother, Peter"
He merely nodded (Hello...)
Before I knew it,
I was in front of a house
*This..house is...* I said
<The old haunted one?>
*Y-Yeah..* I said quietly
<Well, don't be afraid.>
*Believe me, I am trying.*
Noah then chuckled
And then he patted my head
<Okay then, good luck with that.>
*I'll need luck alright...*
I said underneath my breath
"What was that you said?"
*No-Nothing! Nothing at all..*
He gave me a look "Okay.."
*Psst! the secret password is..*
"I shall kneel down, Goddess.
But in return, Grant my wish.
