As I walked through the forest,a sudden realization hit me.Help wouldn't arrive.I'd be stuck here until....I couldn't force myself to think the rest.Picking up a branch off the forest floor,images flashed before my eyes.Of the day my mother died....
I shook my head,clearing my mind of the awful memories.I leaned on the branch,but it only helped for a second.Using it to limp to the nearest Oak,I threw it down;and slid downward into a sitting position.I couldn't resist the urge to sleep.So I did.
*Sleep*
Awake.I hurt all over.Someone turned;exposing clear blue eyes.The clearest blue I'd ever seen.
Unexpectedly,he smiled.When I didn't respond;he waved.
I rolled my eyes at his bluntness and refocussed on his eyes.
As he sat next to me and placed a warm hand on my shoulder,I flinched.I was still heartbroken from the last time I'd gotten too close to a boy.When he suddenly dumped me,I felt like my heart was ripped out of my chest.hopefully,this boy wouldn't do that.My eyes glassed over as I was absorbed in my memories......
