I am soo annoyed with my parents, my mom in particular. There's this stupid parental blocking thing up, and it won't let me view my friend's site. He's been bugging me for a week about it, and I want to see it. I'm annoyed at my mom becuase she keeps coming home and telling me how a particular student of hers is that particular day. I DON'T CARE! So what? It's not necessary info. She should be more sensitive to the fact that I don't want to hear her name again. It hurts. I can't stand to even look through my b-day party pics from last year. *sigh* It was so nice back then...
I am now doing research for myself. I want to learn about everything. My first topics are labels/social groups at school. What makes preps and goths so different? Okay, I do know that, but the other stuff, I don't. World cultures is another topic. I need it bc I'm in world history. Knowing about the Islamic culture, for example, will help me in this chapter, which is partly about Muslims. It's pretty cool stuff. Maybe we'll get to China and Japan. I love that stuff. It's so facinating cause we rarely hear about it. I want to absorb all the knowledge I can.
I'm also relearning some of my Latin. I have my notebook and a textbook that's been floating around the house. I rescued it and started to learn some of the basics. I'm trying to be the quizbowl expert on something other than math. Maybe languages would be neat. I'm already pretty good with foreign language classes. I got an award bc I did really well on the National Latin Exam in 8th grade. I wasn't even trying. I didn't care about Latin. I said I hated it! But I got 97's all year and didn't have to take the final exam (thank God!).
Nepie is now 007. lol. I'm not really. I just started noticing stuff, making mental notes. Nothing useful. I know one girl's in 4 of my classes. One's in 3 in one day. Stuff like that. And other stuff. Who answers most of the questions in Chemistry. Who the class clown is in English (*cough* Andrew *cough*). Ya, it's pretty useless. It's easier when you've actually got an objective. Like trying to find out why your friend is suddenly disappearing at lunch, no where to be found. Wait, that's me! No one tries to figure that out... But maybe they do. Maybe they try their best to keep a keen eye on me w/o my knowledge. Hard to do. Possible, but...
