Ouch. My feet hurt. So does my back. Damn librarian tells me to put the books in order. All the books are shelved below where I can stand up to see. I almost told her to do it herself. She's a good 6 inches shorter than me. SHE can see the books without having to lean over the whole time. I was leaning over and balancing on my feet at the same time. It still hurts. And if it weren't for my mother, I wouldn't be going back. I have all the stupid service hours I need. Why bother. They don't have anything for me to do, so they make me break my back or cut scrap paper for an hour.
So I wonder, how do you stop yourself from liking someone who probably has no interest in you? I'm not having much luck. For awhile, I actually thought I had suceeded, but once I was back in my own house, my own bed, a delayed reaction occured. My heart was danced on, but the next day we were running from Hurricane Katrina. So, I didn't feel anything for anyone until I got home. Then, every detail was painfully clear. It was like my heart had been broken....again. I don't really like boys easily, but once I like someone, it ain't pretty when something goes wrong (the guy has a gf, etc.). Had that happen. Sucks. I've lost interest too, but that took a summer of not seeing the guy, plus I already knew I liked him. Last go-around, I realized it halfway through the summer. Then I realized I didn't have a prayer. Why? 'Cause I knew who he liked. And that spelled disaster for me. But I couldn't get hm out of my head, and I still can't. It's going to take alot for me to turn myself around and head for more promising boys. It's just, he's so nice to me, even when I'm annoying and sulky and crying. *sigh*
