The poetry essay was about conflict in "not my business" and one other poem. I found it difficult to choose a poem. I narrowed it down to "search for my tongue" which I like and "presents from my aunts in pakistan" which I hate. I chose "presents"
I don't think my essay was very good. I didn't compare/contrast them. Blarghhhhhh.
My describing piece I think was better, surprisingly. I chose to describe a journey, I did a plane journey. Except I never got on to the journey, I described the wait before the plane took off. I hope that's okay.
I got senses in there, a metaphor and simile and I took special care to show not tell.
I had some good phrases in there too, I think C:
I don't know how I've done in English. I'm less bothered about getting a good grade in english than my other subjects
Next exam: Physics. Or history. Probable physics.
