Omg.....we're going to have to rehome my cats. ; A ;
Except one. *sigh* And Ernie is going to be the one we won't rehome, because he's been hurt in the past and I don't trust anyone else to give him the attention he deserves.
But Felix, Salim, and Bagira must go.
Their mother just had another liter of kittens. And I know my dad is going to go haywire when he sees them.
She's going to bring the kittens here to be fed and he's going to take them off to the "country" next chance he gets.
That's why we have to give them to a Humane Shelter before he can do that.
I knew we were going to have to find homes for the others, because we can't take them all with us when we move....but...I thought it'd be easier.
These cats were stray and wild before we got ahold of them. They were once on the verge of starving and were very afraid of us. But we worked with them and now they're as friendly as any house cat. I think I'm more attached to them because of that. They trust us so much... *sigh*
And here I am, about to cry again. *Knew she shouldn't have put on makeup yet*
But we have to put their welfare ahead of our own selfishness, I guess. It's going to be really hard for me.
