The sunlight fades,
A smile dies,
The night descends,
You realize,
How sad you are,
How much in pain,
Feelings crash,
Like pouring rain,
Dissolve your mask,
Let the tears flow,
Come morning sun,
No one will know.
But who’ll be there?
To hear your crys?
To calm your sobs,
To dry your eyes?
Does no one care?
Can no one help?
Can’t someone save
Me from myself?
The shining knife,
Against my skin,
My pain release,
My only friend.

It understands,
Crimson relief,
