Alright here's the setting of the game:
This game is based off of a book called Kiki Strike: Inside the Shadow City by Kristen Miller.
The Shadow City is an underground place in New York City, where you go in through a manhole and down a rope. It was an old abandoned place that people in the 19th century used to smuggle illegal things. However it was abandoned when a plague epidemic hit New York City so it remained untouched for almost a 100 years. This place has tunnels that lead to unknown places, and boxes and things that haven't been touched. Until now.
