Today I had my second exam which was my french speaking.
I am relieved to have got the speaking exams out of the way -.-"
And now to relive it....


It was at 11:45, so I could leave home a lot later than I did for the russian exam.
When I went up to the third floor ellie was still sitting at the desk preparing for her exam so I sat down and drank some water (again).

Then ellie went off to do her exam and Mrs. Dooley showed me my role plays.
In role play B I was visiting a penfriend and had to say that I'd lost one of three things. All of which I'd forgotten how to say.
Then I had to say that I was tired.
Then it was the "!", the unexpected element
and finally I had to ask what we'd do tomorrow.

In role play C I was going to a concert with a penfriend.
I had to ask what time it started
then there was an unexpected element
then I had to ask what we'd do about snacks
then I had to say what clothes I was going to wear
and then another unexpected element

Why always a penfriend? Pshh ¬.¬

After what seemed like a long wait, it was my turn to do the test.
I did my role plays and they went fine. The "!"s were saying what time I usually went to bed, I had to suggest a method of getting to the concert and say what I thought of rock music.

Then I did my presentation about gymnastics, that was fine. She asked me some questions about gymnastics, that was alright. She asked me about healthy living which.....wasn't that bad either.

But THEN we talked about "house, home and daily routine". I forgot how to say all the rooms in french. I forgot how to say all the pieces of furniture in french.
And that was because all I could think of was how to say the words in russian. It was like my brain was shouting the russian words so I couldn't even begin to think what they might be in french.
Awful.
When I was describing tilly I said that she was very active and often plays in the garden. Then I couldn't think of anything else to say so I said that she liked to eat vegetables XD

Ahh....nevermind. Mrs. Dooley said well done and all that.
It would be quite cruel of her to tell me I did badly though....

Next exam: RS
