Along the way i saw a friend
and now i think this is the end
what can i do what do i say
to make this all just go away

i try so hard i do my best
i rise up now i beat the rest
they say i lie they think i cheat
but this is it i cant be beat

a fading moment so close and dear
what will happen will it disappear
i only know what lies behind me
now whats coming i will not see

is this one person whats dear to me
should i have given her the key
the key to my heart i gave to her
but now my past is all a blur

i look to see whats in her eyes
its it me or another guys
i think to myself what will i do
if i do it will this unglue

my soul my passion and all my heart
may come unglued and fall apart
with passion and rage i cannot lie
all i can do is let out this sigh

i love her more then all my time
but now this is my last rhyme
i dont know anymore
i think i may have to close this door....
