She stares out in space silently,
thinking about her past,
the dark shadows in her mind,
they are her memories,
she pushes them away,
trying to forget all of her pain,
but it doesn't work,
it never does,
she attempts to think of the good times,
but there aren't any,
sadly she gets up and gets into her bed,
ready for another sleepless night,
and then the useless tomorrow.
