I felt the cold wind wrap around my already freezing body. It pierced my skin like a thousand needles as I continued walking down the dark alley. Snow kept falling around me reminding me of how cold it must be for it to remain on the ground. I felt so forgotten in this ice tundra I called home.
As I continued to walk, I could hear voices and footsteps behind me. I would occasionally glance backwards to see the men at the far end of the alley. They kept getting closer. I heard them talking about me.
I continued to speed up and so did they. I bumped into something and I stopped looking at what I ran into. It was a creepy man grinning at me. I felt the guys surround me, laughing.
"What's a purdy girl like you doing out here?" he asked. I quivered.
"I'm l-lost. I was taking a shortcut to get home. Excuse moi," I said trying to get around him but he grabbed my wrist. I jerked my head around staring at him.
