They stand trapped in boundless prison. The once-powerful king is the sole only guard of this prison. The lowest of prisoners, now the king. Their decisiveness lacks clarity. "Escape" says fear. "Destroy" says love. "Change" says sanity. The darkness is blinding, the silence, palpable. They stir motionless in the middle of a charred tundra.
Fear approaches love, but sanity remains nonexistent. Hatred forms, sanity remains. They hate themself. They hate the silent noise. They are alone. Hope is on the outside of the immaterial wall. They hate the outside but would love to be there. Their taciturn communications are stolen by the outside. Hope exits.
The king enters, fear and love separate, sanity remains. They are now two. The king is a prisoner, bound by his own absent prison. The king hides them to escape. They are now one, weighed down by the charade. "Stay" says fear. "Build" says love. "Remain" says sanity.
They see hope, but hope is lost in their blindness. They are calmly enraged. Sanity exits. The baseless room disappears. They fall, away from hope, away from the outside. They are one. One in the ethereal Hell.
