Wooooow! I've only just noticed how close I am until I finish school.. The transition from Highschool to College isn't much of a big deal but college is only two years and i'll be learning how to drive and then afterwards i'll be saying goodbye to my family. I can't imagine myself driving a car because let's face it, i'm so short i'll probably need to sit on the yellow pages. I know my parents will help out with finance problems but I can't rely on them all the time, which means that, as well as studying extra hard i'll have to work in the tiny hours i'll be available.
Why can't I just stay 17? Or better yet 16? I mean, that way I would be old enough in Highschool and not feel inferior, I wouldn't have to worry about using my own money for bills and mortgages and I can dress how I want in any style. Dressing up is practically something everyone goes through. I have met people who work at Beauty counters looking like malibu barbie and they used to dress up as a goth. But I think i've passed that whole 'dress-up' thing, I used to want to look like Avril Lavigne so insisted on wearing baggy-rock-chick-wannabe outfits. I admit to looking like some immature teen angst girl. Afterward, I went through the chav wannabe stage. That was probably my saddest mistake that i'm ashamed of. My wardrobe had about 8 Mckenzie tracksuits. I only wore trainers and like every oher girl, I was fond of the Playboy bunny logo. Sometimes I laugh at my tackyness.
Even though i'm growing up I have to accept it. When i'm older and have kids I would like to see them grow up. Okay, i'll regret saying that but it should be funny to see how they turn out.
