There's something... funny about REALLY bad anime. I speak of the series, specifically, that seem to be one half fan service, one half stunning visuals, and no fraction plot.
So far... I've run across Burn Up W / Burn Up Excess, My Wife is a High School Girl, 2x2 shinobuden (Ninja Nonsense) Angel Tales... the list goes on...
To start off, Burn Up. Premise is good enough. The series revolves around Team Warrior, paramilitary Uber-SWAT team of Police Town Neo Tokyo. Sadly, they only spend about a quarter of their time fighting terrorists and focusing on the plot. If all you look for in an anime is a supply of bishojo to ogle, then you'll be fine. The good news is that every so often, the series departs from its shower scenes and actually has something plot related to say. When that happens, the stunning visuals and character design can be truly appreciated, even more so than in the "Naked Bungie Jump" scene from the first episode.
