All RL-related though.
Sooooo... Saturday was a very long but alright day at work. Got to wear my long skirt and look all cute and act happy, which led to a customer being so impressed at how helpful I was that they wrote me a comment.
Now the deal at places such as Meier and Frank's (where I work) is that everyone's "ranked". No star, Gold Star, Burgundy Star, Ruby Star, Diamond Star. The higher the ranking, the higher the associate is in helpfulness and all that stuff.
Or something.
Anyway, so the lady was so impressed that she actually asked whether she could write me a comment for my manager to read. On the outside I was like "oh of course! I would be so flattered!" but on the inside, I was saying "HELL YEAH!!" Because, as not many people know, customer comments + "secret shops" (when people secretly observe associate interaction with customers) leads to star upgrades.
Remember folks, if you like your sales associates, write nice notes for us. heart
But that's not the reason why it was a bad-ish weekend. oh no.
So today's Sunday, had another day at work. Unfortunately, I knew things were going to be bad when I could barely walk out of my room to head downstairs to my car because my body felt so weighted down. I felt sluggish, sleepy, on the verge of collapse.
Throughout the day, I had horrible headaches, a dry scratchy throat, and I just knew that if I stopped moving for more than 30 seconds, I would collapse.
Almost happened once or twice too.
On the plus side, I got -another- customer compliment comment today, which made me happy. ^^ It means I'm one step closer to another star level. heart
Went to an italian restaurant afterwards to celebrate with my co-workers, and had some AWESOME pasta with artichoke hearts and mushrooms in marinara sauce. First started with a virgin strawberry margarita, but then Sandra was nice enough to order a strawberry margarita for me. Wheeee, alcohol! heart
I don't know what's causing it. The fatigue, I mean. Could it be a side effect of this cough/cold-thing I've been fighting for the last week and a half? It may be because I have been modding too much and my body is yelling at me to rest? I mean... a couple of days ago, I modded for about 10 hours straight, only breaking for dinner. Day after that, another 9 hours. Then another 5 hours. It's shorter because the moment I came home from work, I modded. Then another 4. Also shorter because I knew I had work early the next day.
I need a vacation from Gaia maybe, but I can't take one yet...
