My heart was bond to break

It almost turned to black .. you see,

But you smoothed away the ache.


You caught me and did the perfect crime.

You fixed then stole my heart,

I never thought I’d love again

But you had me from the start.


You caught me once I fell for you

I trusted you so much.

‘I love you babe’ is what you said,

As I melted from your touch.


You caught me as I stared at you

No words were left to say

For everytime I saw your face,

My breath was taken away.


You caught me when I tried to run

For too much was on my mind

Then you showed me uncondtional love

One so sweet, and real , and kind.


Yet you caught me for the last time.

As I walked to heaven's gates.
You told me that you needed me.

and that God would have to wait.
