I pulled back lacy window covers, and look out my bedroom window for whatever reason, it looks like its in early october. the leaves were off the trees. i saw an explosion. At first i thought it was a telephone box that exploded on a telephone pole.

then i hear it, it didn't sound right. a wave of sound from the explosion , glass went flying past me when i yelled something out loud and jumped in the closet and peaked threw the slits in my closet door. i could see a wall of fire headed right in our direction. i ducked down and covered my head.

when the fire blew past its destination i came out of my closet to join my family in a panic. My family at the time consisted of my dad, my mom, and my little brother and sister. My little brother looked like he was too young to know what was going on, but he knew it was bad. my little sister was in the same boat, she didn't understand.

"Dad! give me the keys to your gun cabinet!"
"We have to go!" mother shouted holding my little brother in her arms.
my little sister just stood there in a haze, like this wasn't real.
dad was walking across the room to get something, and handed me his keys, i ran into his bedroom and took the keys to his gun cabinet, i was shaking so bad i could hardly get the key in the hole but i managed to get it unlocked then i grabbed a gun and ammunition.

My dad, i guess did what he had to do, i was trembling. I grabbed a couple of other things and headed out the door as i picked up my little sister. My dad was in the dining room and had something hanging, and began to shoot rappidly at it.

as i went out the door, i could see over one of the houses to my left. There was another explosion! i ran towards the right, just past the driveway was my mom holding an arm full of stuff, and my little bother was tugging at her shirt. my poor mother was in tears.

"Run! Don't stop no matter what happens, just run!" my mother yelled

i ran toward her, i could hear the sound wave breaking everything in its path, i wondered why my mother wasn't ducking behind a vehicle. but then i thought that the sound wave might knock it over on top of them. great, we're exposed with no place to hide....my sister in my arms, clutched so tightly.

"Oh god, don't drop her. please just keep running, no matter what happens, hurry" Mother said as she reached out her hand as i went to take it.

the flame went blowing past.
