So, since the very begining of Gaia history, the Government has had a Registered Residents Listing, telling salient details about every legal resident, which was avaliable for viewing online. There were some customizable areas, but for the most part, they were pretty standard.
Recently however, they gave the page design a new layout, which opened up a whole new level of customization. They added a new feature to it which allows a resident to sign in and edit in CSS overrides on the theme of the page. It's very exciting, as you can customize almost the whole page. I spent a few hours today creating images and working into the code, which was very satisfying. I had to get the codeing from a tutorial, since I don't know CSS, but it looked fairly simple to learn, and it makes much more sence to me now. I have a very calming redwood forest/rhodedendron theme, which makes me feel warm, fuzzy, calm and secure inside. Yep.
