Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!! I grew up reading L.J. Smith Ms. I'm going to write a series about the upcoming millennium, books centered around the coming of the year 1999 and then not finish them until 10 ******** YEARS LATER!
I mean.. I would have to watch it of course, I enjoyed the Vampire Diaries quite a bit and to see them on the shelves again is delightful. The original release is currently on my shelf. I should break it out and read it again, it would probably take me all of 2 hrs to read.
But this is my childhood, MY CHILDHOOD! As in I'm 25 years old and I read these book when they first came out back when I was 12 or 13! Why is it suddenly now getting a potential TV series? confused

Twilight.
That stupid book was so popular that everyone is jumping on the bandwagon. That's why the Night World is being reprinted. Clearly vampire love stories are going to appeal to this generation, if Twilight was any indicator.
