Don't ask me what that means; I don't know how to describe it. I just kept getting these mundane visions of the Irish landscape today. Dark, very dark, the stereotypical "emerald" green of the grass over rolling hills. But there were no bright blue skies, like the tourism commercials portray. Rather, they were a dark, coal gray and the air felt heavy with mist. It smelled green. And I felt a strange, fierce loyalty (something bordering on patriotic fanatacism) towards Ireland.
I'm glad the moment has passed.
